After a full scale blanketing of Fair Oaks and portions of Orangevale passing out envelopes to let people know of our ability to pick christmas trees up after Christmas for a donation, Troop 355 combined with Troop 350 on January 2nd and January 9 to pick up the trees and deliver them to the Orangevale community center for chipping.
Scouts from troop 355 included:
Mitchell Childs, Justin Childs, Drew Childs, Hunter Childs, Logan Mattson, Trenton Mattson, Ben Redfern, Cole Younger, Miguel Delgadillo, Joe Armstrong, Brian Ferrara, Luke Ferrara, Tyler Harris, and Brian Betts.
Approximately 500 trees were anticipated to have been picked up between the 2 days. We appreciate all of the help of drivers who have taken time out of their day and gas for big trucks to haul the trees.
